Sunday Soul Bites {VLOG} - The Difference Between Toxicity & Poison

We all live with toxicity in our lives whether it be in our relationship with ourselves or to others.

For me, there is always cleaning up to do when it comes to toxicity with habits and patterns that are no longer in service to myself and others.

When we stay too long in toxicity there is a chance that the toxins will become poisonous.

Think of it like this, when something is TOXIC, it’s is harmful and unpleasant. When something is POISONOUS, by definition “is capable of causing illness or death”. This is extreme but gives you an idea that when a habit or pattern becomes poisonous it needs our attention.

Take a listen to this Sunday Soul Bite to discover a personal tool I use in my practice to determine when something toxic turns poisonous.

It might be something that is right in front of you. Remember awareness is the key to any change.

Many of us might have done this before to another (our partner, kids, coworker, etc) or have been on the other end of the stick, and have felt hurt by someone’s words.

It happens often, and WHEN it happens we then begin to create personal labels that stick. Whether they are in service or dis-service to our overall well-being.

How can these labels affect us? What kind of expectations do we hold for ourselves when we are labeled?

Sunday Soul Bites {VLOG} - Flipping the Script on Worry

The thought of moving into 2021 while still in a place of uncertainty has me feeling worried, anxious, and again more worry. I bet you I’m not alone!

What if I told you that 60% of the things that you worried about never came to be a reality. Think about how much time, space, and energy we have spent wasting in worry.

The lesson of living with uncertainty has forced many of us to play with living in the present moment. As hard as that may be!
