Quality In Our Relationships - The Quality Series Week 1

Welcome to the 1st week of discussing QUALITY and where we should have it in our lives. Read the first blog in the Quality Series, How We Can Measure Quality In Our Lives Here!

This week we are focusing on the quality of your RELATIONSHIPS and those you surround yourself with. Be sure to watch the video above, I will discuss this topic in more detail.

To begin, I’m going to talk about a tool that I myself have been using for the past 12 years. This tool is called Life is Like A Theatre, a fantastic metaphor for your life!

When I first read this metaphor during my coaching training program it nearly blew me out of my desk chair. The brightest light went off in my head. I was able to see clearly enough to reflect on the quality of my own theatre.

What is Our Theatre You Ask?

Our theatre is a reflection of our lives. It is the production we are putting on day in and day out. It is the “show” of our lives (no pun intended).

Now, please don’t be going and kicking everyone out of your theatre. This is an introduction to becoming aware of the fact that those we surround ourselves with says a lot about our patterns and habits. These patterns either become a disservice or a service to our greater good.

I like to play with these questions:

  1.  What is the overall quality of your theatre?

  2.  Would you like to attend your own show?

  3.  Are you tired of your show and those attending?

  4.  If you were to look out at the first row who would you see?

  5.  What would you have to recognize in yourself to shift the seating in your front row?

Experiment and become curious with these questions.  The answers will only lead to a de-cluttered theatre so that your production of your life becomes refined.

See you Tuesday, March 17th to cover quality number two, The Quality of Your Thoughts.

Sending tons of quality your way!
